The Streetsville Historical Society has been collecting, organizing and preserving local archival information and artifacts since 1970. The material includes a great collection of Streetsville photographs taken before Confederation (1867). Streetsville has the most designated heritage buildings in Mississauga, and the Historical Society has assembled photos for a display of our sesquicentennial year along with memories of 1967, that many of you will have experienced. We have Canadiana folk art, music to remember, and some memories of the great fun that Canada has shared over the years.
Do drop by. We are open Wednesdays and Sundays from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. This display will run until the end of December 2017. For more information call 905-814-5958.
